UI Controls Overview

Control objects are typically bigger groups of widgets which do more awesomer things when put together.

What I call a Control is called Controller elsewhere.

Some examples of what Controls can do:

  • Navigation Control

Combined with a NavBar Widget, a Navigation Control coordinates page navigation with the NavBar itself.

  • Popover Control (In development)

A Popover Control is responsible for showing a Widget inside of an iOS Popover Component.

  • TableView Control (Not yet available)

A TableView Control watches over a TableView widget. One of the things it does is by adjusting the TableView when the keyboard appears – typcally the height of the TableView will be adjusted, and a row which might have been hidden by the keyboard is moved up into the visual area.
